Hogrefe is a member of CrossRef, an association that develops shared infrastructure to support more effective scholarly communications, among other things as a repository and database for Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). All journal articles published online by Hogrefe are assigned a DOI, which means they can be reliably cited and linked to online.
