Abstract
Abstract: The issue of supervision seems to be neglected in clinical neuropsychology. Team- and group-supervision as well as face-to-face-supervision are characterised as different forms of supervision. Supervision deals with methods derived from different psychotherapeutic approaches. As a goal-oriented method integrative approaches seem to be the methods of choice. Necessary qualifications of supervisors in neuropsychology are discussed both, from the perspective of personality as well as by using role-theoretical aspects. Knowledge and experience in supervisory methods and clinical neuropsychology, however, are essential parts of supervisor's qualification. The relevance of supervision in the context of professional clinical neuropsychology is emphasised.
