Unterwegs mit Ultraschall in Kenia
Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Ein Schweizer Internist und angehender Angiologe ist in Kenia mit einer mobilen Ultraschallklinik unterwegs. Weiter engagiert er sich in der Ausbildung von medizinischem Personal im Bereich Ultraschall. Dies sowie die Zugänglichkeit zu Ultraschall im Kontext limitierter Ressourcen sind das Ziel dieser Initiative.
Abstract. A Swiss physician and future angiologist is on the road in Kenya with a mobile ultrasound clinic. He is also involved in the training of medical personnel in the field of ultrasound. This and the accessibility of ultrasound when medical resources are limited are the objectives of this initiative.
Résumé. Résumé: Un interniste et futur angiologue parcourt le Kenya avec une unité mobile d’ultrasonographie. Il est aussi impliqué dans la formation du personnel médical dans le domaine de l’ultrasonographie. Ceci, de même que l’aide à l’accès de la sonographie malgré des ressources limitées sont les buts de cette initiative.
