Evaluation eines Pilotprojektes zur gemeindegetragenen primären Prävention von Drogenmissbrauch und Sucht in sieben luxemburgischen Gemeinden

Abstract

Zusammenfassung. Der folgende Beitrag stellt das luxemburgische Modellprojekt “Suchtprävention in der Gemeinde“ vor. Präventionsgruppen, die aus freiwilligen Gemeindemitgliedern bestehen, wurden in sieben luxemburgischen Gemeinden aufgebaut und führten eigenständig suchtpräventive Aktionen in ihren Gemeinden durch. Für die Evaluation auf der Gemeindeebene wurden 644 Personen in den Gemeinden mit Hilfe eines Fragebogens zu zwei Zeitpunkten befragt und zu Vergleichszwecken in eine Interventions- und eine Wartekontrollgruppe aufgeteilt. Etwa die Hälfte der Befragten konnte mit den Aktionen direkt erreicht werden. Die bisherigen Ergebnisse zeigen nach einem halben Jahr, dass die Gefahren verschiedener Substanzen und Verhaltensweisen vergleichsweise sensibler wahrgenommen wurden. Meinungen über die Funktionalität von Alkohol, Nikotin und illegalen Drogen fallen weniger positiv aus. Nicht nachzuweisen waren Unterschiede in Hinsicht auf kommunikative Ereignisse im sozialen Netzwerk. Dem relativ kurzen Zeitraum entsprechend ließen sich auch im berichteten Konsumverhalten der einzelnen Substanzen bisher keine Veränderungen feststellen.


Evaluation of a pilot project on community oriented primary prevention of drug abuse and addiction in seven Luxembourg municipalities

Abstract. The following article presents the Luxembourg pilot project ”Community Based Prevention of Drug Dependency.“ Prevention groups consisting of voluntary citizens were started in seven Luxembourg communities to carry out drug addiction prevention activities in their communities. For the evaluation on the community level, 644 persons were surveyed twice by means of a questionnaire and were divided into a waiting group and a treatment group. About half of the questioned people could be reached by the actions. The present results after half a year show that different substances and drug behaviors were perceived as being comparatively more risky. Opinions regarding the function of alcohol, nicotine, and illegal drugs were comparatively less positive. Differences could not be proven with regard to communication about drug addiction in the social network. Due to the short period of measurement no differences could be found concerning reports on drug using behavior.
