Wenn ein Tennisarm kein Tennisarm ist … Differenzialdiagnosen des lateralen Ellbogenschmerzes
Abstract
Abstract. While lateral elbow pain may be caused by any number of reasons, it is often automatically considered to be a tennis elbow. Two recent studies, however, have shown that 75 % of patients with chronic lateral elbow pain suffer from elbow instability and not tennis elbow. This mini-review aims at elucidating reasons for, diagnosis and treatment of, as well as pitfalls and red flags in lateral elbow pain.
