Ultraschall in der studentischen Ausbildung
Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Das schon während des Studiums eingeführte Fach «Ultraschall in der Medizin» erlaubt durch seinen praktischen Charakter, die Motivation von Studenten zu erhöhen und kann medizinisches Grundlagenwissen (Anatomie, Physiologie) und Bildgebung mit klinischen Anwendungen einzigartig verbinden. Dies erfolgt einerseits als Point-of-Care-Methode (POCUS) am Ort der Entscheidungsfindung und andererseits als «radiologische» Methode mit Interventionsmöglichkeiten. POCUS ist der Einsatz von Ultraschall durch Ärztinnen und Ärzte zur richtigen Erkennung von Problemen und Durchführung von Lösungen am Ort des Geschehens. Sowohl die European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) als auch die World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) haben Positionspapiere publiziert zur zielgerichteten Anwendung der Ultraschalltechnik (Point of Care), über deren Stand hier berichtet wird.
Abstract. The subject ’Ultrasound in Medicine’, already introduced during the studies increases the motivation of students by its practical character and combines basic medical knowledge (anatomy, physiology) and imaging with clinical applications in a unique way. This is done on the one hand as a point of care method (POCUS) at the point of decision-making, and on the other hand as a ’radiological’ method with intervention options. POCUS is the use of ultrasound by physicians to correctly identify problems and implement solutions at the point of action. Both the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) and the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) have published position papers on the targeted application of ultrasound technology (point of care), the status of which is reported here.
Résumé. Le sujet «l’échographie en médecine», déjà introduit pendant les études, permet d’augmenter la motivation des étudiants par son caractère pratique et peut combiner de manière unique les connaissances médicales de base (anatomie, physiologie) et l’imagerie avec des applications cliniques. Ceci se fait d’une part en tant que méthode de prise en charge (POCUS) sur le lieu de décision, et d’autre part en tant que méthode «radiologique» avec possibilités d’intervention. POCUS est l’utilisation des ultrasons par les médecins pour identifier correctement les problèmes et mettre en œuvre des solutions sur place. L’European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) et la World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) ont toutes deux publié des prises de position sur l’application ciblée de la technologie ultrasonore (point of care), dont il est fait état ici.
