Internalisierende Auffälligkeiten bei Kindern und Jugendlichen in Deutschland - Ergebnisse der PAK-KID-Studie

Abstract

Zusammenfassung. Die Daten der bundesweit repräsentativen Stichprobe der PAK-KID-Studie, die mit der deutschen Fassung der Child Behavior Checklist und des Youth Self-Report von Achenbach erhoben wurde, werden hinsichtlich Internalisierender Verhaltensweisen von Kindern (4-10 Jahre) und Jugendlichen (11-18 Jahre) analysiert. Für N=1030 Kinder liegen Elternurteile, für N=1757 Jugendliche korrespondierende Eltern- und Selbsturteile vor. Folgende Ergebnisse werden berichtet: Es werden Prävalenzraten, Alters-, Geschlechts- und Beurteilereffekte, sowie Korrelationen und Komorbiditäten internalisierender mit anderen Verhaltensauffälligkeiten dargestellt. Hinsichtlich aller erfaßten internalisierenden Auffälligkeiten (sozialer Rückzug, körperliche Beschwerden, Angst/Depression sowie internalisierendes Verhalten insgesamt) beurteilen sich die Jugendlichen auffälliger als die Eltern sie einschätzen. Dieser Unterschied ist bei Mädchen signifikant größer als bei Jungen. Die von den Eltern beurteilten internalisierenden Auffälligkeiten nehmen in höherem Alter zu. Mädchen beschreiben auf allen Skalen zur Erfassung internalisierender Auffälligkeiten mehr Probleme als Jungen; die Beurteilungen der Eltern unterscheiden sich jedoch nicht bedeutsam. Eltern- und Selbsturteile Jugendlicher korrelieren im mittleren Bereich (bis zu r=.50). Innerhalb der internalisierenden Auffälligkeiten lassen sich hohe Komorbiditätsraten feststellen (besonders zwischen Angst/Depressivität und sozialem Rückzug). Aber auch externalisierende Auffälligkeiten werden häufig als komorbide Störungen beschrieben.


Internalizing problems in children and adolescents in Germany - Results of the PAK-KID-Study

Abstract. The data of the national representative epidemiological survey of the PAK-KID-Study, which were gathered with the German version of the Child Behavior Checklist and the Youth Self-Report from T. Achenbach, are analysed regarding internalizing problems of children (4-10 years) and adolescents (11-18 years). The sample consists of N=1030 parent ratings of children's behaviour and N=1757 parent ratings and self reports of adolescents. The following results are reported: Prevalence rates, effects of age, gender and informants are reported as well as coincidences of internalizing problems with other behavior problems. Regarding all internalizing problems (Social Withdrawal, Somatic Complaint, Anxious / depressed and internalizing problems total) children and adolescents aged 11 to 18 years report significantly more problems than parents. This differences are significantly larger for girls than for boys. The internalizing problems of children and adolescents reported by parents increase with age. Girls report significantly more problems than boys on all internalizing scales of the YSR but the parent's reports do not differ significantly. Parent and self reports correlate in the medium range (below r=-50). Within the internalizing problems high comorbidity rates were found (especially between Anxious/depressed and Social withdrawal) but also externalizing problems are often comorbid with internalizing problems.
