Berufsgruppenübergreifende Kooperation in der medizinischen Rehabilitation

Überblick zum Forschungs- und Entwicklungsstand

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1026/0943-8149.13.4.158

Multiprofessional cooperation in medical rehabilitation. A review

Abstract. Multiprofessional cooperation is considered an important quality characteristic in medical rehabilitation. Different team models are possible to describe the cooperation in rehabilitation teams. Most commonly used is a differentiation between a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team model. These two team models differ in “organization and management” and “communication structure”. To analyze teams, teamwork (process), team success (output), and the coherences among these variables should also be measured. At present, there are no conceptual and methodical concepts for the implementation of systematical team analysis. The aim of this article is to develop a heuristic model to measure and assess multiprofessional cooperation in teams in medical rehabilitation, and thus to create a basis for the implementation and evaluation of team development.
