Abstract
Abstract. Q-switched lasers represent the best treatment option for tattoo removal. The selection of the adequate laser, depending upon the tattoo color and skin phototype, is essential to achieve optimal results. In this article, the different lasers used for tattoo removal as well as the potential side effects and their prevention will be discussed.
