CME: Hypertriglyzeridämie
Abstract
Zusammenfassung: Die European Society of Cardiology definiert die Hypertriglyzeridämie als Nüchtern-Triglyzeride >1,7mmol/l. Die meisten Patientinnen und Patienten sind asymptomatisch. Hypertriglyzeridämie ist assoziiert mit einem erhöhten Risiko für kardiovaskuläre Erkrankungen und geht mit einer erhöhten Inzidenz von akuten Pankreatitiden einher. Die Therapie besteht in erster Linie aus einer Änderung des Lebensstils, die medikamentöse Therapie spielt eine untergeordnete Rolle.
Abstract: The European Society of Cardiology defines hypertriglyceridaemia as fasting triglycerides >1,7mmol/l. Most patients are asymptomatic. Hypertriglyceridaemia is associated with an elevated risk of cardiovascular diseases and acute pancreatitis. Therapy consists mainly of lifestyle modifications, drug therapy plays a minor role.
