Hogrefe OpenMind: Information for libraries and other subscribers

How much open access content is published in any journal is a decision made by the authors. As the title of our new open access program indicates, we have an open mind as to what business model is used to cover the costs of producing and distributing a journal. We will carefully monitor uptake of the new open access model. If the amount of non-open access content in a journal decreases significantly as a result of the OpenMind program, we will re-examine and adjust subscription prices accordingly. All papers that are published as open access articles will be marked as such in both the print and the online versions of the journals, and so you will easily be able to check the amount of non-open access content.
