Trampolin – Entwicklung eines Programms für Kinder aus suchtbelasteten Familien

Abstract

Hintergrund: Kinder aus suchtbelasteten Familien besitzen ein hohes Risiko, später eine Suchtstörung oder andere psychische Auffälligkeiten zu entwickeln. Trotz ihres Hilfebedarfs existieren nur wenige, auf Wirksamkeit überprüfte Präventionsprogramme. Programmbeschreibung: Das neu entwickelte Gruppenprogramm „Trampolin“ bietet eine innovative, wissenschaftlich fundierte und praxisorientierte Intervention für die Zielgruppe. „Trampolin“ ist theoriegeleitet und fußt auf internationalen Forschungsergebnissen. Ebenfalls eine Rolle bei der Entwicklung spielte der fachliche Dialog mit Institutionen aus der Praxis. Es entstand ein Manual für die Durchführung von insgesamt neun Kinder-Modulen, welches im hohen Maße suchtspezifisch und ressourcenorientiert gestaltet ist. Didaktisch enthält es u. a. Psychoedukation, (Rollen‐) Spiele und Entspannungsübungen. Ein Eltern-Modul ist integriert. Evaluation: Das Programm wurde in verschiedenen ambulanten Einrichtungen bundesweit durchgeführt und wird derzeit im Rahmen einer randomisiert-kontrollierten Multicenter-Studie evaluiert.


Trampoline – Developing a Programme for Children Affected by Parental Substance Misuse

Background: Children in substance-abusing families have a high risk to develop substance-related or other psychological disorders later in life. Hence, there is a great need for support. However, there are only few evaluated prevention programs for affected children. Program description: The new group program “Trampoline” offers an innovative, research- and practice-based intervention for the target group. „Trampoline“ is based both on theory and current results of international research. Furthermore, dialogues with national professionals from the field of prevention were relevant for the development, too. A manual for affected children consisting of nine modules has been developed. Contents of the manual mainly focus on problems arising from parental addiction and strengthen the children’s resources. Techniques used in each module are e. g. psychoeducation, (role) play and relaxation. A module for parents is included. Evaluation: The program has been carried out in different outpatient institutions in Germany and is currently evaluated by a randomized-controlled study.
