Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Wir berichten über eine 72-jährige Asthmatikerin, die nach einer infektgetriggerten Exazerbation im Verlauf eine Pneumonie entwickelte. Anhand dieses Beispiels werden empfehlenswerte und diagnostische Schritte sowie Therapieentscheidung und Verlaufsbeobachtung aufgezeigt.
Abstract. We report on a 72-year-old patient with known asthma who developed pneumonia after an infection-triggered exacerbation of the asthma. Based on this example we discuss the recommended diagnostic steps as well as the therapeutic decision and importance of follow-up observation.
