Eine nicht-traumatische Fraktur des Trochanter minor: Andere Diagnose darf nicht übersehen werden

Abstract. In adults, an isolated non-traumatic fracture of the lesser trochanter should arouse strong suspicion of an underlying malignant pathology. In this article, we present the case of a 55-year-old male patient who presented with a non-traumatic isolated fracture of the lesser trochanter secondary to a delayed diagnosis of metastases of bronchial carcinoma.
Zusammenfassung. Bei Erwachsenen ist eine isolierte, nicht-traumatische Fraktur des Trochanter minor hochgradig verdächtig für das Vorhandensein einer malignen Pathologie. In diesem Artikel stellen wir den Fall eines 55-jährigen männlichen Patienten vor, der sich mit einer nicht-traumatischen isolierten Fraktur des Trochanter minor als Folge einer verzögerten Diagnose von Metastasen eines Bronchialkarzinoms vorstellte.
