Assessment Center-Forschung und -Praxis: Zwei getrennte Welten?

Abstract

Zusammenfassung. Während das Interesse der betrieblichen Praxis an Assessment Centern umgebremst ist, scheint die wissenschaftliche Forschung zu diesem Themenbereich zu stagnieren. Mögliche Gründe hierfür und etwaige Lösungswege werden diskutiert. Danach werden kurz die Inhalte des Themenhefts dargestellt.


Editorial. Science and practice concerning assessment centers: Two different worlds?

Abstract. Although assessment centers represent a popular approach for managerial selection and development, the scientific work on this topic seems to have stagnated. Possible reasons and potential solutions are discussed. Finally, a short introduction to the content of the special issue is given.
