Der Bielefelder Fragebogen zu Partnerschaftserwartungen

Abstract

Zusammenfassung: Die wesentlichen Methoden zur Erfassung von “Bindungsstilen” werden vor dem Hintergrund diskutiert, dass Operationalisierungen die Modellvorstellungen der zugehörigen Theorie möglichst getreu abbilden sollten. Da “Bindungsstile” als umschriebene Reaktionsmuster in bindungsrelevanten Situationen definiert sind (Ainsworth, Blehar, Waters & Wall, 1978), erscheinen Prototypen im Sinne charakteristischer Konfigurationen von Merkmalen als die bestgeeignete Basis für die Operationalisierung. Eine an diesem Prinzip orientierte Clusteranalyse anhand des “Bielefelder Fragebogens zu Klientenerwartungen (BFKE)” (Höger, 1999) mit den Skalen “Akzeptanzprobleme”, “Öffnungsbereitschaft” und “Zuwendungsbedürfnis” hatte fünf Bindungsmuster identifiziert: “sicher” sowie je zwei Varianten des “unsicher-ambivalenten” (“verschossen” und “anklammernd”) und des “unsicher-vermeidenden” Musters (“verschlossen” und “kooperationsbereit”). Um den Anwendungsbereich dieses Verfahrens zu erweitern, wurden die auf die Person des Therapeuten bezogenen Items auf die Partnerin/den Partner hin umformuliert und an einer Stichprobe von N = 402 überprüft. Eine Faktorenanalyse ergab zum BFKE äquivalente Resultate. Eine erste Validierung erfolgt anhand einer deutschen Übersetzung der “Adult Attachment Scale (AAS)” (Collins & Read, 1990).


The Bielefeld Partnership-Expectations Questionnaire. An Alternative Proposal for Assessing Attachment Styles by Questionnaires

Summary: In this article an new german questionnaire assessing adult attachment-styles is proposed. Starting from the original theory (Ainsworth, Blehar, Waters & Wall, 1978) attachment styles are defined as distinct adaptive patterns of reactions in attachment-relevant situations. Following this concept, an optimum assessment of attachment patterns will use prototypes as distinguished configurations of personal characteristics. In a recent study (Höger, 1999) using the BFKE (“Bielefeld Clients' Expectations Questionnaire” with the scales “problems in feeling accepted”, “readiness for self-disclosure” and “need for care”) five attachment patterns have been identified by cluster analysis: A “secure” group, two subgroups of the “ambivalent/anxious” (“withdrawing” and “clinging”) and two subgroups of the “avoidant” style (“withdrawing” and “cooperative”). In order to extend the possibilities of this questionnaire, the items of the BFKE were reformulated with the romantic partner as a target person. A sample of N = 402 completed the reformulated questionnaire. Results are equivalent to the BFKE. In a first validation the classifications were compared with a German translation of the “Adult Attachment Scale (AAS)” (Collins & Read, 1990).
