Neuropsychologie in der Psychiatrie
Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Die Neuropsychologie ist ein bis in die Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts zurückreichendes Forschungsgebiet an der Grenze zwischen Psychologie und Neurowissenschaft. Sie behandelt nicht nur rein biologische, sondern auch systemtheoretisch-kognitionspsychologische Grundlagen des Verhaltens. Neuropsychologische Erkenntnisse haben Einfluss auf Definitionen im DSM-IV und die Konzeption psychometrischer Testverfahren sowie letztlich auch auf die Gestaltung psychotherapeutischer Interventionen.
Abstract. Neuropsychology is a field of research on the border between psychology and neurosciences originating back in the middle of the 19th century. It is not only concerned with biological but also with the basics of behavior that depend on system-theory and cognitive psychology. Neuropsychological findings are effecting definitions of DSM-IV and psychometric tests as well as interventions in psychotherapy.
