Abstract
Zusammenfassung. Maligne periphere Nervenscheidentumore (MPNST) sind selten. Insbesondere bei Patienten mit bekannter Neurofibromatose Typ 1 (von Recklinghausen), sollte jedoch an diese Entität von Tumoren gedacht werden. Die Indikation für eine offene Biopsie oder Exzision sollte grosszügig gestellt werden. Im Folgenden berichten wir über einen raren Fall eines MPNST, der die Wichtigkeit der schnellen Diagnostik und Therapie aufzeigt.
Abstract. Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST) are rare. But especially in patients with known neurofibromatosis type 1 (von Recklinghausen), this entity of tumors should not be forgotten. The indication for open biopsy or excision should be made generously. In the following, we report a rare case of MPNST, which highlights the importance of rapid diagnosis and treatment.
