Abstract
Abstract. The German adaptation of the Neuropsychological Assessment Battery (NAB) includes five neuropsychological domains in a screening and in five main modules. For patients after unilateral stroke (n = 50) we found middle to high correlations (r = .60 bis .78) combined with a good agreement of classifications between screening domains and their respective main modules. In addition, the ability of the screening domains to predict performance on the corresponding main modules was analyzed. Based on the German NAB standardization sample (n = 880) joined with the group of patients after unilateral stroke (n = 50) the recommended screening cut-offs identified 94 to 98 % of participants recommended for further assessment (high sensitivity). Our results underline the suitability of the NAB for adaptive assessments in the context of clinical neuropsychology.
