ADHS: Neue Ansätze in Diagnostik und Therapie
Abstract
Abstract. Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) are among the most frequent and common psychological disorders in childhood and adolescence. Recent research is motivated by the fact that traditional approaches to diagnostics and treatment appear to have considerable deficits. The role of cognitive (neuropsychological) aspects has been debated for years. In the meantime, however, there are convincing arguments to give greater consideration to those aspects in diagnostics and therapeutic intervention. Especially the measurement of executive functions is of growing importance. Therefore, new approaches to this issue are discussed here.
