Essstörungen und Adipositas im Kindes- und Jugendalter

Abstract

Zusammenfassung. Essstörungen und Adipositas stellen auch und gerade im Kindes- und Jugendalter ein ernst zu nehmendes Gesundheitsproblem dar. In diesem Beitrag werden die Erscheinungsformen von Essstörungen und Adipositas bei Kindern und Jugendlichen, epidemiologische Befunde, Risikofaktoren und Entstehungsbedingungen sowie aktuelle Befunde zu psychologischen Interventions- und Präventionsmöglichkeiten vorgestellt.


Eating disorders and obesity in childhood and adolescence

Abstract. Eating disorders and obesity are a serious health problem in children and youth. This editorial provides a brief review about eating disorders and obesity in children and youth regarding epidemiological data, risk factors, and psychological intervention and prevention (e.g., nutritional management, family-oriented behavior therapy).
