Abstract
Abstract. Researching the relationship between job and customer satisfaction is of particular importance in the service sector, as an improvement in job satisfaction is thought to have a positive impact on customer retention and financial success. A plethora of research conducted at the aggregate level of entire business units and their clients has established a positive correlation between these two variables. The question of its causality, however, still remains to be answered. In addition to that, the theoretical explanation of the mediating processes remains unsatisfactory. The articles collected in this volume examine the conditions of this relationship.
